Plenary session 1 : a network for whom ?

The study carried out in the first half of 2008 by IOWater on behalf of AFD had for overall objective to analyse the situation and identify the main lines for support to the Water Training Centres (WTCs) in 19 PSA countries .

This time for presentation and discussions aims at having exchanges on the existing or experimented mechanisms used for financing professional training in water supply and sanitation utilities.
The participants are invited to present their experiments and the specific cases encountered in their countries.

This time for presentation and discussion aims at dealing with the new needs regarding professional training, which can appear in water supply and sanitation utilities, and with innovative solutions allowing meeting them.
The participants are thus invited to present their experiments and the specific cases encountered by their institutions.
In exchanges preliminary to the Assembly, some points had already be raised and are presented here as an introduction to the discussions.
